Ever have one of those days when you have no idea what to wear? I live my life by these fashions tips:

recycle your wardrobe. Go through your closet and put things together you would never expect to look good, imagine your clothes through another persons eyes. Take pictures of these creations and store them on your computer. When you are in a bind on what to wear look at your outfit diary. Even just switch one small part of the outfit. You will rarely see me in the same outfit twice for this reason.
Find a trustworthy person and switch clothes for a couple weeks, you might end up with a new idea for the piece you lent out or an idea of what could be a basic piece for you.
